FLOUR OF ALTAI FLOUR MILLS CO., LTD. TO APPEAR IN ULAANBAATAR
Altai Flour Mills Co., Ltd. has made a shipment of flour to Mongolia. A trial batch of 135 metric tons will be delivered to Ulaanbaatar soon. It is the flour made according to GOST of high and the 1st grade in various packages produced by ZAO Tabuny Elevator.
Mongolia is a conventional outlet for Altai flour. Altai flour millers ship to Mongolia thousands of metric tons of their products every year. Thus, in 2014-2015 season more than 13,5 thousand metric tons of flour were shipped to Mongolia, which amounts approximately 10% of All-Russia flour export.
Even though Mongolia is a close market, it is quite difficult. There are quotas and import duties for flour in the country. Besides, in recent years modern grain processing enterprises have been built in Mongolia, which work actively when good crop in the country.
We understand that there are no free markets, where Altai flour millers are being waited for. There is a high level competition and tariff and non-tariff regulation measures everywhere. Our company is ready to struggle for every market and certainly hopes to carve out its niche on Mongolian market.
