Brief results of our activity in 2015

The year 2015 came to the end for Altai Flour Mills Company at the level of 19 074 metric tons. Precisely this quantity of grain processing product was exported in 2015. Shipments were made to the near abroad countries (Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan) as well as far away (Jordan, DPRK, Guinea, Sierra Leone). The biggest volume of deliveries is accounted for by flour (more than 15 000 metric tones), however, the company also exported grain, sunflower oil and sugar.

The company was actively involved in needy countries food delivery global tenders of the UN World Food Programme (UN WFP). All the products for humanitarian operation realization were made according to the UN standards concerning quality as well as package under strict control of international surveyor organizations. Partner companies of Altai Flour Mills Ltd. had to make extra settings of equipment, order special high-strength package with UN WFP marking, fertilize the products with vitamin and mineral complex and make additional certificates.

In 2015 the company carried out a successful project on flour and sugar delivery to Jordan. Agreeing of quality and delivery terms was conducting since 2013, and to fulfill the order peculiar packaged special flour and sugar production was launched. This was a unique deal because such a product had never was delivered from Russia to Jordan before. The product was delivered to Jordan for high energy bars production, which would be distributed among Jordanian schools within School Meal Programme.

Moreover, we first organized the delivery of fortified sunflower oil from Altai Krai to African countries (Guinea, Sierra Leone). To execute this order special vitamin-mineral oil in a high-strength package was produced. The biggest part of the products exported by Altai Flour Mills Company were produced at Altai enterprises: Tabuny Elevator, Korotoyak Elevator, Topchikha Flour Mill, Yug Sibiri. Altai Flour Mills have steady partnership relations with these enterprises, which in their turn maintain high quality standards made by foreign consumers.

To dispatch the product which wasn’t produced in Altai Krai (rice, sugar) strong business relationships with processing rice enterprises of Krasnodar Krai and the Russian largest sugar producing holding Prodimex Holding were built.

Due to the close partnership with responsible agricultural branch representatives Altai Flour Mills Company successfully implements complicated food delivery projects not only to the neighbour countries but also to the far markets.
