The representative of "Altai Flour Mills" Co., Ltd. took part in the intergovernmental commission Russia - North Korea in Pyongyang

he vice-chairman of “Altai Flour Mills” Co., Ltd. Mr. Vladimir Butin took part into the intergovernmental commission Russia – North Korea which took place in Pyongyang at the end of March. Russian delegation was headed by the Minister on Far East development Mr. Galushka, and the Korean side was headed by the Minister of Foreign trade of North Korea Mr. Ri Ryong Nam. Russian delegation consisted of the officials of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of East Development, the Ministry of Regional Development, and Russian Foreign Ministry. Also there were the representatives of 12 Russian companies which have trade and economic relations with North Korea.

Russia and North Korea again proved the common aspiration to the further development of bilateral trade and economic, science and technical cooperation.

Particularly, Mr. Vladimir Butin negotiated with the chairman of Korean foreign trade company "Chong Gil" on the sequel of the cooperation and further wheat flour shipment to North Korea. The Korean side also expressed an expiration to hold a meeting with “Altai Flour Mills” Co., Ltd. in Barnaul on the issue of further cooperation and increase wheat flour shipment to North Korea.

During the business trip Mr. Vladimir Butin also discussed with the members of Russian delegation logistic and organizational matters on the shipment of wheat products to North Korea.

The minutes of the meeting was signed at the end of Commission’s work. There was a script in it that parties support the cooperation of “Altai Flour Mills” Co., Ltd. and the Korean foreign trade company "Chong Gil" on wheat products shipment.

“Altai Flour Mills” Co., Ltd. has repeatedly made shipments of wheat flour to North Korea in the framework of humanitarian operations and has established itself as a reliable supplier of wheat products to the Korean market.
